The Guild of Interim Religious Educators (GIRE)
The Guild of Interim Religious Educators began as the brainchild of a small group of visionary leaders in 2009. Seven years later, in 2016, GIRE became an official organization whose mission is to support interim religious educators, advocate for interim religious education and provide continuing education in the field of interim work and religious education transition. "In Liminal Time" is such a resource, providing essential information and a virtual toolkit for professionals and congregations facing religious education transition.
Membership in GIRE is open to any religious education professional who identifies transition work in their portfolio, has taken the UUA's Professional Interim Training program, and is a member in good standing with LREDA. To find out more, check out the GIRE website. |
This online resource was made possible by a LREDA Twenty-first Century Grant.
